When Karla was born her great aunt and uncle misheard her dad and thought her name was Kahlua.
She’s been energising and intoxicating people (with charm) ever since, becoming an industry leader not only in Melbourne but also Australia-wide with over 17 years PR and events experience.
Since then, she’s led the business from strength to strength building a team that expertly service some of the best brands across food and beverage, lifestyle and consumer sectors.
She also uses her innate ability to get the word out for good causes, and is the proud co-founder of Fierce Women, an event to empower women while raising money for Cancer Council as well as providing assistance to Lighthouse Foundation and YGAP.
While continuing to build KDPO, Karla has also built two little humans – Bill & Mieke, who keep her busy when not in the office. All together they love going to the beach, planning new adventures and attempting new recipes in the kitchen.
